  • Abdullah Murad-Founding Partner

Abdullah Murad is a founding partner of the Fallata & Murad Law Firm with offices in Jeddah and Medina, Saudi Arabia. For more than two decades he has provided a wide range of financial, corporate, commercial and dispute resolution related legal services to Saudi and international clients. Mr. Murad is well versed in Sharia law and has extensive litigation experience. He regularly represents businesses and individuals in Saudi courts and before the Board of Grievances.
Drawing on nearly ten years serving as chief legal counsel to leading private wealth management and real estate development companies (SEDCO and Dar Alarkan) Mr. Murad regularly advises corporations and business on a variety of issues relating to commercial law, including tax related matters. He has broad experience in commercial law and public and private contracting in the Kingdom, in Jeddah and in Mecca and Medina.
Mr. Murad has served and has acted as legal consultant to many of the Kingdom’s governmental bodies, including, the Jeddah Urban Development Company (JDURC), the leadership of Jeddah Metro Company, the Civil Aviation Authority, the International Airports Project (IAP) in Jeddah and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.
His experience in dispute resolution, both on behalf of his clients and as a neutral, runs deep. For twelve years he has been approved as an arbitrator by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Justice, managing and resolving disputes in a wide variety of sectors including construction and real estate development. He is a member of the Institute of Commercial Arbitration In Bahrain and the Conciliation and Arbitration and Commercial Experience Center of Franco Arab Chamber of Commerce in Paris. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Association.

 

 

 

  • Hamid Baker Fallata-Founding Partner

Hamid Baker Fallata is a founding partner of the Jeddah and Medina based Fallata & Murad Law Firm. For more than two decades he has provided a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution related legal services to Saudi and international clients.
Mr. Fallata regularly advises clients on a variety of issues relating to Sharia and commercial law. He is a trusted advisor to local and international business and businessmen whom he represents in Saudi courts and before the Board of Grievances, and is particularly highly regarded in the Saudi Arabian legal community for his legal research and scholarship, and expertise in Sharia law.
He has served in Jeddah municipal government and has acted as legal consultant to governmental bodies, including the Ministry of Commerce and the Jeddah and Mecca Chambers of Commerce, where he is a former member of the Committee of Lawyers and Legal Consultants.
Mr. Fallata has extensive experience in dispute resolution, both on behalf of his clients and as a neutral. For years he has been approved as a certified arbitrator by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Justice, managing and resolving disputes in a wide variety of sectors, with a particular emphasis on insurance and marine related disputes. He is a member of the Institute of Commercial Arbitration in Bahrain and the Conciliation and Arbitration and Commercial Experience Center of Franco Arab Chamber of Commerce in Paris, as well as the Justice Institute in Cairo. He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Association.
He is a sought after speaker and author on matters relating to Saudi law, and frequently quoted in local newspapers and on television.
Hajaj Sadig Ali- Advisor and Consultant
Mr. Ali, who is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia and has worked at Fallata and Murad since 2000, holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in law from Khartoum. He has extensive experience contract drafting and legal practice with a particular knowledge of Middle Eastern and international law.
Mosaad Behery- Advisor and Consultant
Mr. Behery is a specialist in insurance and maritime settlement disputes, earned his Master degree in Maritime dispute, insurance and P&I Clubs from University of Oslo in Norway. Also, he lectured many courses focused on marine arbitration and insurance. Furthermore, Mr. Behery represented and cooperated in many maritime cases such as MS al-Salam 98.
Mohamed Z. Murad-Lawyer
Mohamed Z. Murad received a Bachelor of Law degree from Beirut Arab University in 2007 and a Master’s degree in Law from Michigan State University in 2013. He is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia. He has experience working as an attorney in both the private and public sectors.
